Experience Summary
As a graduate of the University of Alabama, I value my education and my ability to teach others. I have earned two degrees, BA in English and MA in English, which has enabled me to teach and tutor students and adults in the areas of reading, comprehensions, and writing. In addition, I have taught college courses in literature and composition. I have tutored professionally and I currently tutoring privately. I have ample experience in helping your student achieve success in English and in writing.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching literature and the elements of grammar and writing to any student that is willing to learn. I trust that each student will come prepared and willing to work. I often go beyond what is expected of me so students get my best effort when either teaching or tutoring them. When teacher and student, alongside caring parents, work as a team, that student is destined to reach his or her full potential. I demand hard work and perseverance from my students. I stress the importance of learning and critical thinking. I hope to always make a difference in a student's life.
