My teaching/tutoring style can be summarized as follows: First, recognize the following: In order to be successful in teaching you have to sincerely care for the students. Listen to their concerns and be available for the help they might need. Second, be fair in your expectations. State and explain what students are expected to achieve, what do before class, how to prepare for exams and other items that occur whenever needed. Third, try to emphasize active learning and help develop critical thinking skills, Finally, remember that each student is different and learns is different ways. By making a effort to present the course material in various forms, real life examples, class room activities.
