Experience Summary
As a Doctoral Candidate in Instructional Leadership, I have been driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned a BA in Elementary Education and MS in Instructional Technology, which have enabled me to teach algebra and geometry integrated with computer skills and writing in addition to elementary grades.
As a Doctoral Candidate, I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing numerous research papers in many areas of studies. During the last eight years, I have tutored learners in elementary and middle school grades in math, English, and Spanish as well as adult learners wishing to become proficient with computer skills. I have also tutored and taught college students majoring in education
Teaching Style
Teaching is my calling in life, and I thrive working with all learner regardless of age. I believe that everyone has the ability to learn and that everyone has a unique learning style. I am patient and easy going as I guide students through hands-on and discovery learning. My training in Brain Compatible Learning and Multiple Intelligence has been the building blocks to help all students meet their potential. I strive to guide each and everyone to become lifelong learners as I make a difference in their lives.
