Experience Summary
Having a B.S. in Microbiology from University of Maryland and having completed 2 years of medical school gives me a strong background in the sciences. For the past 7 years I worked for Certified Learning Center and had great experiences tutoring students of different backgrounds. Although science is my specialty, I have tutored students ages 7-22 in various subjects such as math, science, English, reading, and history.
Teaching Style
Having been in school for 6 years post high school has taught me a lot about the educational system and the means to success. A proper education is very crucial in order to prevent a student from being misinformed and misguided. To prevent that, I help my students to be self-motivated and more aware of local and global events through newspapers. I believe everyone is different based on their backgrounds, therefore, they must be taught HOW to learn effectively. This is where I come in. I can identify what a student’s weakness is and allow them to learn SUCCESSFULLY!
