Experience Summary
Over the past several years I have helped students achieve their potential in a wide variety of educational settings. I have taught several different subjects including social studies, math, reading, and French to students ranging from kindergarten to seniors in high school. Although my undergraduate degree is in history and my teacher certification is in social studies, I am fluent in French and am very good at mathematical subjects including geometry, trigonometry, and algebra.
Teaching Style
I am very comfortable working with students of all ages. I am extremely patient and easy-going with a good sense of humor. I believe in enabling students to become proficient life-long learners. I try to encourage my students to look beyond the textbook in order to achieve greater enrichment in their lives. Learning should not stop at the school doors. In order to be successful in life, students need to learn how to find and utilize resources to help them grow and mature intellectually throughout their lives. It is my ultimate goal to enable students to think critically and become successful life-long learners.
