Experience Summary
My academic experience has taught me to motivate myself and achieve the goals I've set. I have received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Accounting from Indiana University, and I have taken an opportunity to get certified
in Excel and Access applications.
I have gained valuable accounting experience during my internship with Yum Brands, Inc. As a technical support volunteer at LiveJournal.com I've been trained and later trained others on dealing with customers and writing professionally, working both independently to answer frequently asked questions and in a group environment to track down unusual technical problems. I've tutored students in principles of accounting, and college math (pre-calculus).
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching, guiding a person in their learning. I believe that working through problems is one of the best ways to learn the material, but I also wish to explain the underlying concepts and show how everything fits in the big picture. I'm patient and easy-going.
