Experience Summary
As a Summa Cum Laude graduate, I have always valued academics and education. I began to share my drive for excellence through tutoring in high school. I tutored elementary school students in all subjects and college students in Statistics. During college, I tutored in Spanish, as my area of expertise. I have extensive knowledge of the Spanish language and dialects throughout Latin America and Spain through my studies, volunteer work, and travels in Latin America and Europe.
Teaching Style
I have experience working with students of all ages and I thoroughly enjoy the challenge each person brings. I treat each student according to his/her needs and I look for the most effective ways he/she learns. I ask the student questions that lead to his/her discovery of the process, steps and answer to the problem. With this method the student has the satisfaction of resolving the problem, encourages him/her to continue on to more difficult ones, and gives him/her the confidence to do his/her best!
