Experience Summary
I graduated from the University of Washington in 2008 with a dual degree in Accounting and Information Systems. In 2009, I sat for and passed all four section of the CPA examination. As a Magna Cum Laude graduate, I was extremely driven to excel and reach my potential. The coursework that I took throughout college provided me with an extensive knowledge base of business, math concepts, and writing. Throughout college, I was involved in the Beta Alpha Psi tutoring program for accounting students. In addition, I held a variety of private tutoring sessions in the areas of intermediate business math and business writing.
Teaching Style
I have always enjoyed teaching children of all ages. I've had experience as a teaching assistant that has well prepared me as a tutor. I am very laid back and patient while finding a positive way to encourage students to meet their potential. I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement and enabling students to feel comfortable in their learning environment. I believe that education can be the foundation for a successful and happy life which is why I am so enthusiastic about assisting others with their educational goals.
