Experience Summary
I am passionate about children and Art. I have a BA in Art with a minor in Business and also Art Education. I have volunteered my time teaching art to children as well as painting murals locally. I interned for a year teaching art in a special needs classroom. I also have personal experience with special needs children as my son is autistic. My experience includes studio art, art history and theory, art therapy, graphic arts, design and digital media. I can tutor your child in all aspects of art.
Teaching Style
I believe in giving children a means of expression that is positive while nurturing their creativity. Many things can be learned through art. All children can feel successful through art thus building self-esteem and confidence. The passion that I have for what I do is infectious I am told. I am patient yet fun, open and dedicated and love to see children blossom. All children are creative and I love to give them the tools and knowledge to reach their full potential :-)
