Experience Summary
My experience with teaching piano lessons started in September 2006. I took Group Piano I, and Group Piano II the following semester. The students taught someone what was covered in each class.
My first full-time student came at the end of the fall semester 2008. It was my first time teaching and getting paid.
I evaluated how I did with teaching him after the six months. I have come up with some exercises that would prove that my students would excel at playing the piano if they will take the time to practice.
Teaching Style
It is extremely important to encourage students. I would teach the basics to my students. To start with, piano students learn the step process in scales
I am good with kids. I am willing to help them learn what they need to at their pace. I am patient, considerate, and I long to help others succeed in the areas that interest them.
Students will also learn how to follow the music they play, whether it is a simple time signature, (for example, four-four,) or compound such as six-eight.
