Experience Summary
I have been working as a Language Teacher for over ten years now. I have a BA Degree in English from the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico. Within my Degree Program I was trained to develop as a Second Language Teacher and as a Translator/Interpreter. I have successfully developed in all three areas. I have had the opportunity to perform as a Spanish Teacher at College level at the Language Center of my University in Mexico. I have worked with students from several different nationalities such as German, French, Japanese, and Russian etc.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and working with children and young adults. I believe that when it comes to learning a second language the key to success is practice and consistency. Being in contact with the culture helps understand the language better making the learning process a lot easier. I think that as a native speaker I can provide students not only with a great level of conversational skills but with culture related knowledge which can significantly increase their performance. We, as tutors, have the responsibility to help students build their communicative skills and make a real difference in their learning process.
