Experience Summary
As a business woman of 24 years, I have gained valuable experiences in many different sectors; banking, customer service,
marketing, sales, public relations and teaching. I excel in the Marketing/PR field which entails most of the jobs I have held. I also like teaching children. Most of my teaching has been with grades K-8 which I really enjoy. During my years of private piano teaching, I learned so much from the students as far as "teach the child the subject, not teach a subject to a child."
Each child is unique and different. I love capturing their attention using fun learning methods.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is laid back and comfortable. I like to use flash cards, fun games, and rhyming teachniques. I think children have to like their teacher to do well. Many of my former students have kept in contact with me over the years..
being invited to their graduations, weddings and other parties.
I made a very good impression on them...as most often teachers can be forgotten as the years go by. I try to make learning fun and I like to incorporate color and coloring to work sheets and assignments. I am very creative.
