Experience Summary
I attended Berklee College of Music and received a bachelor’s degree in Guitar Performance. I took many courses that dealt with the traits and tendencies of different genres of music along with music history. I also took a pedagogical course in private instruction, giving me valuable knowledge on methods on how to approach students with a curriculum that fits them. For the past year I have taken on students from the south shore teaching guitar and music theory.
Teaching Style
I love and enjoy teaching all ages, either beginners or advanced musicians. I always maintain a fun, learning environment. Most importantly, I am patient with my students. Music is like a second language and can seem like learning to talk all over again. I understand that students learn at different rates and I always keep my students interested in playing the guitar. I always incorporate fun into lessons while at the same time making sure students practice the materials given to them.
