Experience Summary
As an ESL ( English as a second language) teacher, I taught students at all levels, from elementary to advanced. I prepared students for exams such as the Cambridge First Certificate, TOEFL and TOEIC. I taught Business Management and Marketing in a European University and served as a student adviser to the graduating seniors.I also taught English to nursery school children and designed and taught a summer school program for elementary school students. I worked with hundreds of students while teaching English in high school and helped motivate them to improve their grades.
Teaching Style
Teaching is a dream job since you get to directly see the results of your work. You can watch your students improve in front of your eyes and this is a result of your motivational skills. The students do the work but you are the one who reaches their inner core to pull out their ability to achieve. For each student you must find what motivates them and press those buttons. My role is to get students to believe in themselves and then to guide them through the process of education. Positive reinforcement is the key to their success. Frequently they were never given that opportunity. I make them believe in themselves and make learning fun at the same time.
