Experience Summary
Education and a desire to help others learn has always been a strong emphasis in my life. I earned a BS in Philosophy and Religion which has enabled me to comprehend students and the way people think. I also graduated with a pre-medical emphasis. As I worked through the science requirements for pre-med, I fine tuned my problem solving skills which has enabled me to help students who are struggling in these areas. During the past four years I have tutored students in algebra, physics, chemistry, Spanish (I speak fluent Spanish), and biology.
Teaching Style
I love seeing people succeed in something they have struggled with. I am easy to get along with and patient. I firmly believe in letting students work through their problems instead of showing them the answer and having them copy it. I am sure that everybody has the capability of reaching their academic goals, some subjects just take a little more work than others. I will do my best to help my students reach their goals!
