Experience Summary
In 2007, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Drake University. Since then I began working as a case manager for people with disabilities. On the side of my job I have volunteered my tutoring skills to a few of my friends over the past couple years with classes like, biology, general chemistry, psychology, as well as physiology. Each person passed these classes with a B or better. With my background in science as well as working with people with disabilities for a living I believe that I can be a great tutor for any student.
Teaching Style
I love to work with pre-teen and teenage students who are determined. I feel that I can help them get a better understanding of the things they want to learn. Although I have no formal teaching skills, I love science and and willing to help anyone who wants to learn. Working with people with disabilities has helped me to discover my great teaching ability. I believe every person can reach their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences.
