Experience Summary
I have a doctorate in English and over twenty years teaching college-level Composition and English. No matter the skill level or writing project, I can help students improve their ability to write clearly and effectively. Additionally, I have over three years tutoring for a national SAT prep company and can help students prepare for the Critical Reading and Writing sections of the SAT.
Teaching Style
While my approach varies with each individual student and situation, my overall goal is to help the student understand the subject matter/assignment at hand. I attempt to make each tutoring session comfortable for the student while at the same time helping him/her achieve success in the assignment/subject.
