Experience Summary
I have earned two masters degrees, one in Mathematics, one in Special Education. I have worked for more than ten years in public schools as a teacher. I also have certification in teaching students with dyslexia in two different methods - Orton-Gillingham method of reading, Phono-Graphix method or reading. I am currently volunteering for Dyslexia Tutoring Program and also working as a community outreach tutor for Summit School in Annapolis.
Teaching Style
Having worked with a variety of learners with varying disabilities, I have gained experience in adapting my style to support my student to be successful. I believe that all students have their own unique learning style and capability that we as teachers can draw from and help them be the best learners and maximize their potential.
