James Yu is an MBA whose career of progressive public & private sector finance experience began in 1990. He has a strong background in cost, managerial & operations accounting with additional ownership roles in: driving hard cost savings, policy procedure & process refinement, FP&A, producing consolidated financial statements, systems administration, supervision of finance staff, credit analysis, payroll processing, stock option, ESPP & 401k administration, human resources administration, cash management, fixed assets, tax filing, auditing, commissions, A/P & A/R. There are few situations in finance & accounting that James has NOT been in.
Teaching Style
I like to take some time to find out how each student learns. I like to connect the subject matter to real world examples or how they can use it the next day. I like to explain the subject matter in several different ways so it is easier to understand. I don't think my job is done unless the student walks away with the knowledge and how to use it.
