Experience Summary
I have both an MBA and a BS in accounting. I work for Arthur Young & Company for over 20 years including 8 as a partner. I am a CPA and also hold the designation as a Personal Financial Specialists [PFS] from the AICPA. I have taught accounting at the Community College level and have recently completed courses toward a limited subject teaching credential at Cal State San Bernardo, Palm Desert Campus. I have also served as a tutor for high school students.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is designed to first assess the student’s needs for assistance. Next, I develop teaching plans designed to help the student learn the material and prepare to be able to demonstrate their ability to successfully show they have mastered the needed material. I stress doing rather then memorizing.
