Experience Summary
As a professional news reporter and feature writer, I bring a unique perspective to the use of English grammar,sentence structure, vocabulary, punctuation and spelling in the writing and/or storytelling process.
In addition to having taught speech and non-traditional forms of communication in a secondary school setting, my experience includes editing and writing for technical and specialty publications, Web content, society magazines, resumes, advertising copy and books.
Teaching Style
It is important to understand what motivates each child and to strive to communicate with him or her in a manner to which he or she can relate.
I believe mastery of the English language, both written and spoken, continues to be relevant to success and that every individual should take pride in being able to influence how they are perceived by others.
