Experience Summary
More than twenty years experience as an Accountant with management experience in corporate, nonprofit, governmental, and educational accounting. Comprehensive knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis. Proficient in applying GAAP principles to financial statement preparation, auditing engagements, and management reports. Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Management Information Systems. While attending undergraduate school, I tutored in the areas of math and accounting. After graduation, I went back to Point Park to continue to tutor for an additional semester. I am known as the go-to person for information, projects, and for tutoring.
Teaching Style
I am a very patient and understanding person. I first will talk to the person to find out where they are having trouble and begin there. Find out what they are understanding and where they are having trouble. My approach is visual. With accounting it is easier to get the concepts when it is shown on a black board or up on a screen.
