Experience Summary
I have tutored in a community college for the last year. I also tutor Chinese students in math and biology; I speak Chinese and understand the language barriers that face non-speaking English students. I got my B.S years ago .I went back to school in my forties .I also tutor Psychology and Sociology I have several papers in review on Psychology related issues. I am President of our schools research group.
Teaching Style
I love teaching. I feel children learn differently .Some children are visual while other children are lecture oriented. I have many ways of teaching, but I feel actual interaction works the best. I also feel that an approach to the big picture of how the material fits into the everyday life situations helps. I like to feel if you take the anxiety out of the material students learn with an open mind. Learning should be fun and rewarding.
