Experience Summary
I have been an educator for several years. My experience varies from Speech Therapy and ESL in a public school system, homeschooling my own child grades 1-8,and teaching in private schools grades k-12. The past two years school years I have taught ESE students also. I have experience tutoring in an after school program and with a tutoring company. From all of this past experience I am skilled to tutor any elementary subject,high school English,grammar and writing skills.
Teaching Style
I am an educator and self-motivator. Teaching is my passion. I believe each child needs a good foundation in core subjects in order to find learning an easy task. Working with children in small groups or one on one can make that possible. When teaching I assure the student that everyone needs to learn and it is a process which leads to success in life. My approaches and techniques include hands on manipulatives, games, puzzles, riddles and of course if needed computer LEARNING games. I stride to make learning a fun, easy and stress free experience.
