Experience Summary
I have been committed to educational achievement my entire life. I earned my Ph.D. in Political Science and, during my studies, lived and worked in both France and Belgium. This experience conducting research abroad not only enabled me to become a fluent French speaker, but also speaks to my extensive analytical and grammatical skills. In addition, I have two Bachelor's degrees (a B.A. in French and a B.A. in International Relations). During the last ten years I have tutored French and taught Political Science to students of many different levels and backgrounds, from children through adults. Most recently, I have gained experience teaching and advising senior-level executives on various business issues.
Teaching Style
I believe that education leads to advancement in life. I love teaching students of all levels and backgrounds, and tailoring the learning process to the individual. I strive to help my students succeed through connecting learning to personal experience; I believe that the most effective learning occurs when students have the opportunity to discover through meaningful experiences with the subject. I am a patient, committed teacher that will do everything I can to help my students advance in their subject matter and in life.
