Experience Summary
I have a natural passion for helping students reach their full academic potential. My bachelor degree, former teaching certificate and prior tutoring experience all work together to qualify me to assist your student with the learning tools needed for success. You can expect me to be responsive, prompt and professional throughout our working relationship. Technically, I have a bachelor degree in Business with an emphasis in Finance. Collectively, I have tutored grade school children for over four years in reading. Personally, I have coached my own children all the way through high school into college. Sometimes, learning requires a specific equation of attentive mother, clever lessons and encouraging tutor. This equation is my specialty!
Teaching Style
I describe myself as a life-long student. Therefore, I’ve become a master at learning how to relate to various learning styles then developing a method of teaching to fit the lesson at hand. I mostly enjoy teaching elementary grade level reading and writing since they are the foundation to all of life's learning. My past students have really enjoyed my engaging sense of enthusiasm with them during our lessons in vocabulary, penmanship, writing, phonics and reading. In short, I am an attentive tutor whose goal is simple: progress. The reward of learning is powerful I present that power to each of my students to carry forward in life.
