Experience Summary
I graduated with a degree in actuarial science at the University of Minnesota Duluth giving me an extensive background and understanding of the mathematics of statistics. I also studied abroad in England giving me a diverse background and experience with different cultures. Before graduating from college I spent many years as a tennis instructor teaching children from ages 4 all the way up to 18.
Teaching Style
I enjoy seeing others succeed and learn. Everyone has there own way of viewing problems and the way I teach takes that into account. In addition everyone is interested in a wide variety of subjects. When I teach mathematics or statistics I attempt to explain things in way that I think the student can learn from. I also try and use subjects that get the student interested and engaged. For example if a student was interested in baseball and was struggling with a problem I would try and come up with one using baseball that would help them learn the key concepts.
