Experience Summary
I have a BS in Business Administration, Major in Accounting and Minor in Political Science and a Master of Science in Finance. My experience is drawn from employment as an accountant, financial analyst and field examiner in industries such as manufacturing, health care insurance, auditing and consulting. I possess 20+ years of computer experience which includes 2 years of programming in COBOL II and RPG II. Extensive experience using Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio and Publisher. Also have exposure to dozens of accounting and reporting systems from general business experience and from 2+ years as a field examiner.
Teaching Style
I have experience 5+ years of tutoring experience as owner of "Wheels of Learning Tutoring Centers" where I tutored high-school and college level students on subjects ranging from economics, finance and accounting to social studies, mathematics and geography. My approach to learning has always been to explain complex ideas in terms that each individual can understand from their personal experience. I find it very fulfilling to see students learning and understanding new material as a result of my teachings.
