An accounting executive experienced in the areas of financial reporting, consolidations, budgeting, and technical accounting research with over 18 years direct work experience. Experience includes a concentration in consolidations and financial reporting in environments with complex technical accounting issues and structures. Previous employers include both small and large sized publicly traded companies. Certified Public Accountant since 1999.
Teaching Style
I have managed staff and senior level executives for more than 12 years. I believe the key to educating anyone is to understand the students learning obstacle and work to simplify the issue. The key here is what is simple to each student will be different on a case by case basis.
Additionally, I feel that being engaging, and a little humorous helps keep students eganged in the subject matter. However, I also feel that the best way to learn is to work on practical examples.
I personally feel rewarded when students grasp the issues and "see the light".
