Experience Summary
As both a teacher and a student, I have developed my knowledge of the many branches of mathematics. Over the past eight years I have instructed students in large groups, one on one, and online. Each of these experiences has honed my ability to determine the cause of students' difficulties and to find ways to help them improve their understanding of the subject at hand.
Teaching Style
I feel that a tutor should focus on command, connection and clarity. A tutor must have excellent command of the subject material if they are to improve a student's understanding. A tutor must try to make a connection with his student for progress to be made. Finally, a tutor must be able to instruct with clarity if the student is to succeed. I strive to bring these three things to each session that I tutor.
