Experience Summary
I taught high school religious education for approximately six years. This required relating to students, some of whom were reluctant to be there. This required preperation as well as flexibilty to adjust to what worked and what didn't work.
I taught financial analysis for decision making while at Weyerhaeuser Comapany. Students were all levels of the comapany from senior maagement to entry level people. I was part of the team that developed this course work.
As a part of rolling out standard company wide financial systems at WeyerhaeuserI instructed new system users in how to get there job done utilizing the new software.
Teaching Style
My style is to try and present the matertial in a framwork that students can relate to. So if I'm trying to get a financial concepts across to someone I try to think about what this will mean to the student and how they will use it in there work--answer the question of how it relates to the outputs of that individual's job or life. I think I do this because it's how I learn best.
