Experience Summary
As a native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I am eager to see students of this area excel in their studies. Fortunately, I was able to grasp the subjects of Mathematics and Chemistry, and this has allowed me to enjoy a successful career as a Chemical Engineer. I recognize the challenges that students face, especially in the areas of Mathematics and Chemistry, and I am confident that with hard work, they will be able to develop their skills and understanding of these subjects. I have tutored family and friends, in college and high school, and have found that repetition feeds confidence, and confidence feeds success.
Teaching Style
As stated above, I believe the keys to successful training and tutoring is through repetition. I expect a great deal from each student, because I am convinced that we all have the capacity to learn. I feel that the role of a tutor is to facilitate the learning of the student; whereas his or her teacher has the role to teach. Through the strengthening of fundamentals and the building of a solid foundation, the student should be able to find continued success in the present and the future - in and out of the classroom.
