Experience Summary
Extensive background in people oriented environments from engineering, academia, counseling, and law enforcement. My stong points include caring and compassion for success of others and positive motivation to achieveable dreams. Twenty years experience in engineering related occupations, ten years in teaching and academia, and some form of counseling since undergraduate school in early 1980's.
Teaching Style
I love seeing the light go off in their heads written on their faces. My experience has included helping children that failed previously with other teachers prove to themselves they can succeed. My teaching style includes positive re-enforcement and focused repeatition of the subject matter until success has been achieved. Small levels of success lead students to get excited about the possibilities.
