Teaching Style
One of the most important task in tutoring is building up a students self confidence. Some students have a learning barrier due to their lack of confidence in a given subject, so I believe a part of a tutors job is to build the confidence of a student, allowing them to believe they are able to do whatever they put their mind to. I use hands on and visual learning techniques which involves draw pictures, using surrounding objects or using examples students can readily relate to. My main goal is to make it FUN. Once a student finds a subject fun they usually put forth the effort to progress in the program. To tutor for me, is fun and it is a journey that the student and the teacher take together, this is why I enjoy it.
