Experience Summary
I currently hold a Bachelors of English Education. I am certified to teach 7th through 12th grade English, Speech, Drama, and Debate. I have spent most summers learning new teaching methods and keeping current with reading trends including Advanced Placement, Great Expectations, Professional Learning Communities, and various writing workshops. I enjoy reading young adult literature which has gained me an advantage in the classroom.
Teaching Style
Graduating Magna Cum Laude from college, I have always been a good student. My goal as a teacher has always been to lead by example. I have spent the last five years continuing my education through any opportunities given to me. I have taught 7th graders to seniors in high school and have learned to teach each group differently. I have always been a teacher who can break down the information to where my students can learn the parts and create the whole. English, American Literature, AP English, and Creative Writing are the subjects I have taught most recently.
