Experience Summary
As a healthcare professional, I have earned two degrees: Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Biology. Driven by a passion to learn every aspect of the human body and understanding the dynamics of massage therapy as a complementary profession to chiropractic, I enrolled into massage therapy school. I have since received my certification in massage therapy and graduated top of my class. Many years of education has enabled me to gain an extensive knowledge of Human Anatomy and Physiology. In addition, I have taught collegiate Human Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, and Nutrition for over 2 years.
Teaching Style
I am very patient, easy-going, and passionate about teaching. I believe by helping students recognize their learning style, they are able to achieve a vast amount of knowledge in any subject. My goal is to always make the educational experience fun and to present information in various ways. I always strive to simplify the information into a common language that students can understand. By thus doing so, my students have successfully maintained a high passing rate in spite of the case load. Good educators can reach every student on each of their individual learning levels; and I strive to be one of those good educators.
