Experience Summary
I have done volunteer work with kids (all levels) who needed help catching up to the level of their peers as well as working with adults to improve their reading. I have also coached basketball for middle school boys for several years. Reading, writing, history, social studies, and science are my areas of expertise. Test preparation is another area I can really help in. My eleven years in high end medical sales have given me the ability to mesh with all different kinds of personalities and working methodologies.
Teaching Style
Most kids and young adults have the ability to complete the necessary level of work. They just need that extra amount of help to bring out the skills they already possess. I have found in working with young people that confidance is crucial. I am a good communicator with kids and try to instill that they can achieve their academic goals through patience, practice, and an open mind to success.
