Experience Summary
I have earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education for All Subjects, K-8th grades. I have over 20 years of experience as a teacher. I always put 110% in everything I do, especially when it comes to teaching my students. Furthermore, I have 20 credits towards a Masters Degree in Reading and Language Arts and I continued to further my education by attending my local community college to learn about Microsoft Works, Economic and Accounting classes. Currently, I am a certified Teacher, who is the Program Director of a Latchkey Program at my school. Lastly, I am consistently updating and honing my skills as a teacher by attending several workshops each year.
Teaching Style
The first time I knew I wanted to be a teacher was in 2nd grade. My teacher truly inspired me and I knew from that day on that that was my calling in life. I strive everyday to be the best teacher I can be to my students. Using manipulatives, games, examples, and many other teaching aids, I know that at least one will spark a light in each child and help them in their understanding of the educational material at hand.
As a teacher and a parent, I strive to help all students with patience, care, and understanding. Teachers can have a huge impact on their students, and I always want mine to be a truly positive and helpful one.
