Experience Summary
Two years before graduating from USCD I did some math tutoring to pay for school expenses. I tutored subjects ranging from Algebra to Calculus. I graduated from UCSD in 2003 and I am currently working full time as a Network Administrator. I have two younger sisters who are both in high school and I have helped them through their math classes. I currently tutor my co-worker in business math. I also attended 1 year at Valley College and took some classes in Accounting.
Teaching Style
I like working with numbers. My tutoring depends on the one being tutored. I would ask what's the best way they learn and try to cater towards that. If the student does not have a preference, then I would have the student work on problems either assigned, in books, or problems i put together and then see where the student is struggling and take it from there.
