Experience Summary
I have received my Ph.D in Physics and Mathematics from a prestigious Research Institute in Russia headed by a Nobel Prize Winner, which enabled me to gain an in-depth understanding of Physical Sciences and Mathematics. I also held a Post Doctoral Fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University. During all these years, I tutored students in Physics and Mathematics.
Being a native Russian speaker, I am also happy to offer tutoring in Russian Language and Literature.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with all children. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I am available to help your child find academic success. I am patient, easy going, and considerate. My goal is to provide the best education possible. I am a firm believer in teaching through discovery and in providing a constructivist approach to learning. I believe all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences. A few good educators can make a world of difference in a child's education. I strive to make a difference in all of my students' lives.
