Experience Summary
As a pre-service teacher, I am constantly preparing to become an excellent educator. My degree is in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Children's Studies and Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL). I have endorsements in language arts, science, and social sciences. Through clinical placements I have observed, tutored, and taught in two elementary classrooms. I have also tutored in math, reading, and ESL and I have experience working with children with special needs. My experiences have be rewarding and have shown me that learning can commence any place, at any time.
Teaching Style
The focus is always on the student's learning - everything I do I want the student to be able to learn from. I believe every student learns differently and therefore must be taught in a unique way. I believe every student has the ability to learn and succeed and that knowledge is the gateway to a better life.
