Experience Summary
I have earned two BS degrees, one in Chemistry and one in Spanish as well as a Masters of Science in Forensic Science. In addition, I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers and laboratory reports, along with essays in many areas. Since high school, I have tutored students in chemistry, Spanish, and mathematics. With my current job, I have gained excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex subjects on a level that an average person can understand.
Teaching Style
I enjoy tutoring and mentoring students. It is very rewarding to be able to help a student understand concepts that at first may seem complex. I do not believe negative criticism can help a child learn; I like to encourage students. I believe it is best to break complex subject matter into parts and master smaller concepts in order to better understand the full picture.
