Experience Summary
I was raised in different countries due to my father's diplomatic career; visited bi-lingual French-Farsi primary and secondary schools and continued my academic studies at London School of Economics. While interested in all social sciences, my favorite subjects were anthropology and sociology, hence a continuing passion for languages which developed throughout my life. I learned and aquired a commond of written and spoken English, French, German, Farsi and Spanish and applied my linguistic skills to assisting high school and university students in Europe.
Teaching Style
My years of experience in giving private tutorial to students taught me the principle of evaluating each student and his/her preferences and learning abilities prior to adopting a specific teaching style. This priciple proved to be of valuable and succesful results and has been observed and practiced in all my teachings (English, French, German and Farsi) to the present time. While some students find an audio-visual method of learning more conducive, others show greater degree of absorption and learning via text books and more conventional teaching methods.
