Experience Summary
I have been the educational field for over fifteen years. My experience varies from classroom instruction to self paced, online adult programs. I have taught technical and non-technical courses to a variety of age groups. I am currently teaching at Cleveland Public Schools as a Business instructor.
Teaching Style
My teaching style completely depends on the learner. In a classroom setting, I am fairly relaxed and ensure that students feel confident and able to communicate without fear. My lessons address each of the learning styles so that every student has the opportunity to utilize their strengths when it comes to processing information. In a one-on-one setting, I tend to teach mostly to the style of the individual student. However, I vary the methods of that style to prevent monotony. I still utilize the non-dominant learning styles so students can begin to develop a holistic approach to learning, but if something flat out does not work, I will try a different approach.
