Experience Summary
I began working in the field of education in 2003 during a fieldwork experience in a kindergarten classroom at P.S. 20 on the Lower East Side of New York City. I then student taught children in 9th and 12th grades in English at Burncoat High School in Worcester,MA for my MA license in 2005. I taught English at Worcester Technical High School until the birth of my twin sons in 2006. I tutored Japanese business professionals until I began my career as an ESL teacher in December 2008 for Worcester,MA. I am two courses away from finishing my Masters degree in Education and truly love what I do and the people I meet.
Teaching Style
I believe that everyone learns and can teach in his or her way. I use as many methods as I can to bring a lesson objective across and take my student's learning style into consideration when I teach. I learn a lot as well when I tutor/teach and am always reminded how fun education in any form can be!
