Experience Summary
Upon my graduation from UNC Chapel Hill, I worked various jobs; however, I could not find fulfillment in what I experienced. I decided upon moving to Charlotte in March 2006 to go into Secondary Teaching in English. I gained an excellent education at UNC Chapel Hill and UNC Charlotte. I have one year of public teaching experience and two years of tutoring experience.
Teaching Style
I have been told often I am especially patient, which I believe is one of the most important qualities for a teacher to have. I know from experience that not all children learn in the same environment, so I would love work one-on-one with a student to help him or her to gain the experience that may be lacking. Each person has different strengths, and those strengths may not always be recognized in the classroom setting. Many students have unrealized strengths and abilities. My license is in English, but I also enjoy Math and History. I have a classical music background as well.
