Experience Summary
I grew up working with children, babysitting them and part-time teaching at a pre-school while I was in in high school. I was also a camp counselor in North Carolina for 6 years. I have been substituting in the public school system this year and it has been wonderful. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University and an ESOL endorsement.
Teaching Style
I have an easy going and nurturing teaching style. I believe that there is no one way to teach or touch a mind or heart. I believe in positive reinforcement and try to maintain a learning-rich environment. I am a "think outside of the box" sort of person. I know the tremendous impact my teachers had on me, and I want to share my passion for knowledge with as many students as I can.
