Experience Summary
I am a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer. I served in The Gambia West Africa as a health and community development volunteer. As a volunteer I worked in a local hospital on a daily basis, performing a variety of roles.
I am a graduate of Roger Williams University. I have a BS in biology. RWU's science courses are intensive in both lecture and laboratory proficiency. As a result I’m able to tutor both lecture and laboratory portions of a course.
Teaching Style
I am a very patient teacher, and I'm willing to take the time to explain any concepts a student is having trouble with. I have tutored several courses while I was attending college including several biology courses, organic chemistry, and physics. My experience in the Peace Corps has taught me to approach subjects in an “out of the box” way, which I can translate into a unique and effective teaching style.
