Experience Summary
I am a graduate of a top small liberal arts research university, where I had the benefit of learning from professors in an academic and laboratory setting in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, and computer science. While earning a bachelor degree, I worked as a chemistry tutor and a teacher's apprentice for a biology course.
Teaching Style
I believe that learning is what the brain does best, one simply needs an appropriate, enriching environment for learning. The most important thing a tutor can provide is a confident understanding of the material, along with a belief that it is intellectually accessible to everyone. Difficulties often lie in an ease of discouragement, not incompetence.
