Experience Summary
I am an adjunct faculty at George Mason University, Fairfax, VA and involved in teaching different organic, inorganic and general chemistry courses. This experience has given me an opportunity to have better understanding of teaching and learning process. I am consistently rated as the best chemistry instructor by the students. This achievement has not only made me realize how important a good teacher can be to a student but also inspired me to work hard to be the best teacher I can.
Teaching Style
My primary goal for teaching is to facilitate critical thinking and problem solving skills through chemistry curriculum. I strive for an inclusive and enjoyable environment, and employ a variety of teaching approaches to accommodate students’ diverse learning styles. All my effort will be directed to help students understand chemistry and how science relates to their everyday experience through engaging lectures, discussions as well as problem solving sessions
